NextStepDUI has formed close relationships over the past 10 years with the most respected lawyers, treatment centers, educational programs, testing facilities, transportation services and substance abuse evaluators specializing in DUI and related offenses.  We have created a step-by-step case management plan that involves the collaborative efforts and ongoing support of our affiliates.  Your case will be thoroughly evaluated. Based on the outcome of your evaluation, we will make a referral to the appropriate affiliate(s).

 

 

Recommending an Affiliate

The process of recommending a NextStepDUI client to one or more of our affiliates is systematic and individualized, detailed and well researched.  It is important to understand that all courts, hearing officers, judges, probation officers and prosecutors do not treat DUI cases equally.  The affiliates we will recommend for your case must be reputable and knowledgeable in their areas of a DUI.  Furthermore, they must have a working relationship with your particular court and an in-depth understanding of Michigan licensing requirements. The value of working with well-respected, experienced affiliates can't be overstated; it can help you keep your freedom, regain or restore your driving privileges and, most importantly, avoid another DUI.

NextStepDUI works with the top DUI lawyers throughout the state.  We can help you locate an attorney if you are not already represented by counsel, or we can work with your attorney to responsibly manage your case.  If we make a recommendation to an affiliate, it will be based solely on that person's experience, expertise and track record in your court or at the Driver Assessment and Appeal Division (DAAD).  We do not receive a referral fee for this service.  One benefit of working with us is we will weed out the salesmen and the inexperienced lawyers, while assisting you in finding a qualified professional specializing in your particular DUI problem.
